Art Dorwin was a Minocqua mapmaker who liked to make maps of the Northwoods.  He would often use USGS data and combine quadrangles to make his maps.  There were pre-computer days and everything was done in film layers, by hand.  Of note is that most of his maps do not include the green layer seen on most topo quadrangles.  Depending on the map, there may be specific verbiage on the side that Art added or the map may simply have an artistic border.  Most of his maps include at least 2 quadrangles worth of data, and some include 4 or more.

This map includes data from the Eagle River East USGS quad and the Anvil Lake quad located in Vilas County, Wisconsin.
